There are accessible routes into the town centre by car, follow the A4871 into the town from the north and south. From Llanberis follow the A4086, and from Waunfawr follow Constantine Road. Car parks are located across the town.

The nearest train station is in Bangor which is about 9 miles away.

The bus station in the town is close to Llety Arall (about 5 minutes walk). The 5C bus runs regularly between Caernarfon and Bangor. The T2 bus also runs through Caernarfon, it’s an accessible service that connects the north and south of Wales, with connections to the T3 towards the east.

Caernarfon is accessible by bike, with a cycle path running through the town.

The whole town can be explored on foot, but if you are looking for a longer journey there are many local taxi companies in the area.
